The project “Europeam Resources Manager of SchoolCities” has been approved by the MINERVA Program call 2006.
This project is going to develop a virtual managerof European educative resources that, being centered in the city as learningenclave, links the school with the diverse local resources (culture,environment, social organizations, of health, etc) methodologically tofavor an integral learning through the city that we lived. Themethodologic approach is transformed in three premises: To learn of the city,To learn in the city, To learn the city.
9 cities of 6 different countries are partners of the project, coordinated by the Institut Municipal d’ Educació de Barcelona (IMEB).
Project SILVER aims to create a sustainable digital literacy life-longlearning programme to provide: (1) elderly citizens with competences andresources necessary to benefit from ICT; (2) school students and teachers withdidactic experiences fostering the learning of skills critical for the 21stcentury (communication skills, social responsibility, inter-generationalunderstanding, etc.); (3) local-government policy makers with a practicalprocess and tools to tackle elders’ e-inclusion of through a multi-stakeholderapproach including schools, elderly people centres and other organizationsworking with the elderly.
Methodologically, the project develops, customizes, translates,implements and evaluates a digital literacy didactical kit made up of handbooks,guides and evaluation tools at three levels: (1) basic ICT skills, (2) socialnetworking and (3) e-government services. Pilot/testing programmes areimplemented in 4 countries to validate and improve themethodological/didactical kit. In parallel, 3 in-depthcase studies of the innovative methodological and didactical aspects of theproject are conducted, in order to deepen knowledge codification and strengthenthe educational foundations of the programme.
The project’sdissemination and exploitation activities make use of the multilingualdidactic kit and dissemination materials (website, brochure, video, newsletter)and aim to enlarge the project’s stakeholder network. This process isreinforced by the organization of 5 international meetings and the developmentof a knowledge-based community-building environment acting as an openinnovation system to create communities of elders, students, teachers and otherstakeholders using/improving the methodology and sharing knowledge(experiences/solutions). At least 1000 elders, 500 students/tutors and 50teachers and schools will be involved in the project’s digital literacytraining courses. A much larger number will be reached by the disseminationactivities.

Il corso di lingua italiana e di computer realizzato dalla Fondazione Mondo Digitale per il progetto finanziato dal Ministero dell'Interno dal titolo
" LC2-lingua,
cultura e computer: competenze chiave per aprire le porte
dell'integrazione"
intende affrontare il problemadella piena integrazione scolastica, edi
conseguenza sociale, degli,immigrati nel Comune di Anzio (Roma). Il
progetto propone a tal proposito una strategia complessa,incentrata
sull’insegnamento della lingua italiana e dell’informatica con modalità
innovative e capaci di stimolare l’integrazione scolastica dei
principali beneficiari promuovendo la conoscenza reciproca, ildialogo
interculturalee dinamiche virtuose di comunicazionetali da favorire
nelcontempo anche il miglioramento complessivo di abilità trasversali
come la capacità di lavorare ingruppo e il problem solving.
Il corso verrà realizzato con il supporto della piattaforma di apprendimento web della
Fondazione Mondo Digitale,all’interno della quale saranno resi
disponibili sia le risorse comuni a tuttie messe a disposizione nella
fase 1 del progetto sia le risorse realizzate e/o implementate dalle
singole comunità di insegnamento (classi). L’integrazione con
lapiattaforma web e la necessità di saperla utilizzare anche soltanto
nelle sue funzionalità base farà in modo che il percorso formativo
favorisca l’acquisizione non formale di nozioni e competenze digitali
basicheda parte degli immigrati.
